By bending the metal cap, you trigger a reaction where heat is released and the liquid inside begins to turn into an opaque mass. 

The baby snack warmer can also be used by simply warming the food at home and placing it in the gel pack and clicking the plate. This way, you'll have your baby's food ready and warm for over an hour. Cherub baby pouches heat up in as little as 8 minutes. The jar heats up to a comfortable temperature in approximately 25 minutes. It also depends on the ambient temperature.

The heater gets to its original state by simmering in hot water for approximately 10 minutes. This process can be repeated up to a thousand times. But beware! When you boil the kettle, put a piece of cloth on the bottom of the kettle to prevent it from sticking to the bottom.
